To EASE alot of minds about the MODERATION here....

As this topic has come up a few times lately.....

No matter how aloof we Moderators/Participants in this Chaos may act as we post on the board.... Sculpey, Bonedust, and I are CONSTANTLY PM'ing, IM'ing, and Phoning each other.

NOTHING happens on this board without discussion or at least reporting as the who/what/why/where's. Such is the reason you have seen little if any DELETION of threads... So far we've locked 3 or 4 threads to prevent Whiteboard-ish pointless bickering, but left it on the board as an example.

The three of us each have people we like and dislike on the web, as well as those who like and/or dislike us. The balance that we create between us is probably as fair if not more-so than the Whiteboard.

Have faith in us... we're working VERY HARD to make this the BEST FUCKING MESSAGE BOARD on the Internet. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

The Password system is a BIG topic we're discussing right now... ironing out technical and operational issues with it.

At the very least, we could possibly use it as a DRAWBRIDGE/MOAT system where we could create a subscriber list and if we were ever invaded by a flooding of Trolls/Spammers and couldn't keep pace with banning (very unlikely because of the fine folks here at Hostboard) we could do a lockdown and email the subscriber base with the lockdown password.

Don't fret.... Your favorite uncles (Lennon, Rickman, and that guy named Boner) will watch out for ya. [img]wink.gif[/img]
